WorkPac is currently in search of a Human Resources Manager to join our esteemed client's team based in Perth.
Our client is a trusted organization that has been supporting Aboriginal communities in Western Australia since 2001.
Serving the Yinhawangka, Banyjima, and Nyiyaparli people, they offer a wide range of services and community programs across the Pilbara region.
With a strong focus on long-term sustainability, they aim to build resilience and provide lasting benefits for their members and the broader community.
About the Role:
This position is Monday to Friday, with some ad hoc travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Mentor other Human Resource advisors in the organization.
Lead and manage HR functions.
Oversee compliance by reviewing safety assessments and ensuring timely resolutions.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of induction systems.
Manage employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) issues effectively.
Integrate Indigenous cultural understanding into HR practices and operations.
Travel to Pilbara sites every six weeks to address HR and compliance needs.
Represent HR at leadership discussions, including Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
Skills and Experience:

Experience in leading and mentoring other HR professionals.
Experience in HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding.
Strong skills in managing employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) issues.
Ability to develop and implement HR systems and processes.
Knowledge of safety compliance standards.
Understanding and respect for Indigenous culture in the workplace.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
