Our preferred applicant must have:

Must resides in Melbourne
Proven experience in HR and administration roles, preferably within the healthcare, disability, or NDIS sector
Strong understanding of HR practices, workplace safety, and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software; experience with NDIS portals is a plus
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Must demonstrate competence and understanding of policy, procedure and standards that safeguards the NDIS quality assurance in service delivery.
Proven knowledge in use of customer relationship management systems or must be savvy with tech.
Demonstrate understanding and competence in managing SIL Accommodation
Must be a people's person, relatable, demonstrate leadership at all times.
Hold a current driver's licence.
Hold a current first aid certificate or can obtain this qualification.
Provide a police clearance certificate and evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.
Current and verified Working With Children Check and National Police Check

About the Role:

Manage recruitment processes, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
Handle employee relations, HR policies, and workplace health and safety requirements
Support performance management, training, and development initiatives to enhance staff capabilities
Maintain accurate HR records, including employee files and compliance documentation
Coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and efficient office management
Rostering support workers/nurses in line with participant's goals
Leading the support staff, engaging and driving the culture of Care Aid, to ensure staff understand and apply our missions and values.
Managing case notes, incident reports, investigations, complaints and feedbacks.
Manage and organize staff scheduling, meetings, and NDIS compliance documentation
Oversee supplies, equipment, and resources to maintain an efficient workplace
Handle general inquiries and provide administrative support to the team as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour

Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
NDIS-Specific: 1 year (Required)
Human resources management: 1 year (Required)

Australia (Required)
