Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our B2B shade structure business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and building strong relationships with commercial clients such as businesses, property developers, and municipalities. Your success will be measured by revenue generation, client acquisition, and long-term business relationships.
While prior experience with shade structures is not required, you will need exceptional negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail to manage our quote process effectively. You will work closely with the Director and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects from initial lead generation through to contract closure.
Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within the B2B market. Cultivate and manage relationships with both existing and potential clients, leveraging your ability to quickly build rapport. Prepare and manage quote proposals, ensuring accuracy and professionalism. Oversee the quote process, ensuring timely and precise quotations for clients. Collaborate with marketing to align on lead generation strategies. Utilize Zoho CRM to track sales activities and client interactions. Provide high-quality customer service and sales support to clients. Assist with processing and fulfillment of customer orders. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in sales and inventory systems. Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement process improvements. Participate in team meetings, contributing to the overall success of the business. What We're Looking For 5+ years of business development and sales experience Exceptional communication and negotiation skills Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail to manage the quote process effectively. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. A self-starter attitude with a passion for seeking new business opportunities.
