The HSW Prevention and Education Lead, supports the Health Safety and Wellbeing Manager in the development and implementation of a suite of health safety and wellbeing training and educational programs which build workforce capability and support employee engagement to achieve the SCHN HSW strategic priorities.The position project manages a range of programs concurrently across the health safety and wellbeing function including but not limited to building HSW leadership capabilities, manual handling programs, violence prevention and management, workplace mental health and wellbeing and mental health first aid. Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant work experience in training development, coordination and facilitation and Certificate IV in Training and Assessing TAE 40116 (or working towards). Proven experience in designing customised Health, Safety and Wellbeing training and educational resources and programs includingmanual handling in a clinical environment and non-clinical environments. Demonstrated experience engaging a wide range of audiences in presentation, training and facilitation and the implementation of a range of Health, Safety and Wellbeing training and educational initiatives and programs, including violence prevention and management. Successfully developed, implemented and embedded a range of Health, Safety and Wellbeing training and education initiatives and programs in large complex organisations. Proven experience coaching, training and mentoring clinical and nonclinical staff to ensure training programs and resources developed and delivered are appropriate and relevant. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects and deliverables in a highly complex and high-volume work. Current drivers' licence (with ability and willingness to travel throughout SCHN, consistent with the demands of the position and customer needs).
