A co-educational, Year 7-12 Catholic High School which opened in 2011, serving the western Macarthur and Wollondilly areas, with an enrolment of 979 students in 2021
Location:St Benedict's Catholic College, Oran Park
A temporary full time position commencing 14 October 2024 until 20 December 2024. The successful applicant will be required to teach HSIE Teacher. 
The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in HSIE Teacher.
Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA
Ability to teach Religious Education and PD/H/PE.

GENERAL CAPABILITIES
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).
Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance withTo Work, Teach and Leadpolicy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
