Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training)Full timeFounded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph's College is a boarding and day secondary boys' school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students.A highly skilled, qualified and motivated teacher is sought to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6 Geography. The ability to teach across a range of HSIE subjects would be advantageous but not essential.The Geography department is staffed by specialist teachers who are passionate about the subject and work in a collaborative and supportive environment. The subject has a strong history at the College, consistently attracting multiple senior classes and attaining very good results.Applications from early career teachers are also welcomed.All applicants for the above position must be supportive of the Catholic ethos and tradition of the College.The successful applicant will work in a modern work environment, with a very positive and supportive culture, located close to public transport and free parking.
