Role Description: As a HSET Advisor at GemLife, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining safety standards on Civil, Residential & Commercial Construction sites. Collaborating closely with sites in your designated geographical area, your primary focus will be on identifying and managing risks to prevent injuries or harm to workers and the public. As an integral part of the Health and Safety team, you will ensure that our safety policies, procedures, and practices are implemented on our projects whilst providing continual improvement. You will also provide expert guidance and ongoing training on all matters related to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities: Walk the site and collaborate with the Site Managers and Supervisors of Civil, Residential and Commercial Construction to ensure that the site is run at optimum performance, looking out for any hazards and reaching out to the team if they are working in a manner that puts them at risk.Conduct thorough inspections and audits of high-risk work activities to maintain top-notch safety standards.Review contractor Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure strict compliance.Maintain effective communication with relevant stakeholders and authorities to foster a collaborative safety culture.Skilfully manage incidents and investigations, implementing preventive measures to safeguard the well-being of everyone involved.Continuously improve and administer the safety management system for even better outcomes.Conduct safety inductions for workers and provide ongoing training sessions to keep our teams at the forefront of safety knowledge.Deliver comprehensive data reports on findings to operational teams and senior management to drive informed decisions and enhanced outcomes.
