Skip to contentHealth, Safety & Environment (Construction) Full timeAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsCoral Homes is one of the largest and most respected home builders in Australia, with a vast building area and display home network spanning much of the eastern seaboard, and a reputation for consistently delivering on a core promise of value for money, quality and outstanding customer service.About the RoleThis HSEQ Manager is responsible for the continual improvement of the Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Management Systems to minimise the risk of injury or illness and non-compliance.The key responsibilities are:Implement and maintain ISO 14001 certification.Implement quality management systems based that are aligned to the ISO 9001 framework.Management of five direct reports - HSE Administrator, HSE Advisers (3), Quality System Assurance Coordinator.Continual review and improvement of the Coral Homes Health & Safety, Environment and Quality Management systems and timely updating of related policies and procedures.Monitor and manage compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory obligations, standards, codes of practice and other industry requirements.Develop, implement and maintain a Safety Improvement Strategy.Review HSE Adviser inspection outcomes and implement continuous improvement strategies.Lead and manage incident investigations.Engagement with Safework NSW and WorkSafe Qld.Maintain and update Company Risk Register as required.Draft safety alerts and safety memos to suppliers, contractors and staff as required.Chair the monthly HSE management meeting.Present at the Area Building Managers Monthly Meetings.Present quarterly reporting to the Board ofDirectors.Participate in Industry Safety Alliance meetings.Management of work cover claims, rehabilitation and return to work cases.Interstate travel will be required periodically.The successful applicant will possess the following:Previous experience in a HSEleadership role within the construction industry.Thorough working knowledge of WHS legislation.Experience with implementation and maintaining ISO certification.Experience with managing a team.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels.Ability to time manage workload efficiently.Ability to maintain a consistent and very high standard of work at all times.Demonstrate honesty and integrity and promote positive working relationships.How to ApplyIf you feel you have the necessary experience and drive to meet the challenges of this position, and can demonstrate how you meet the skills and attributes, please send your Cover Letter and Resume now.Australian, Australia Permanent Residence and candidate with full-work rights in Australia to apply only.How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
