About the role Are you a dynamic and experienced WHS or Quality professional ready to lead an HSEQ function on a short-term basis?
If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We're looking for a skilled HSEQ Manager to join BG&E for a six-month period.
In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day projects, ensuring the effective management of health, safety, environmental, and quality initiatives across the organisation.
This role is ideal for a project-focused individual who thrives on delivering results and is ready to jump in and get the job done.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure HSEQ system compliance and coordinate HSEQ activities across the organisation.Maintain ISO 45001 (OHS), 9001 (QMS), and 14001 (EMS) accreditations.Track and report on safety, quality, and risk metrics.Support Discipline and Geographical Leads to monitor operational HSEQ performance and compliance.Oversee internal and external audits, monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensure timely action planning.Serve on the ESG and SQRC Board sub-committees.Maintain and update HSEQ policies, procedures, and documentation.Project Work Includes: Continue implementing safety and quality awareness modules.Advance the Crisis Management Plan.Update the Quality Management System (QMS).Support HSEQ-related tender responses.About you You are a seasoned Safety and Quality expert with extensive experience in managing Safety and Quality systems and have successfully led HSEQ functions in mid-sized organisations.
You are passionate about mentoring and developing teams, driving a culture focused on growth and accountability.
Your consultative and pragmatic approach lets you effectively engage with stakeholders, balancing best practices with the business' operational needs.
While experience in consulting within the built environment sector is a plus, it is not a requirement.
