Your remit will be to manage the day-to-day tactical operations of the HSEQ function across Australia and the UK, ensuring the implementation of policies, procedures, and practices that promote a safe, compliant, and quality-driven work environment. The HSEQ Manager is responsible for executing HSEQ strategies set by the Head of HSEQ and managing the HSEQ team's activities across both regions.What we would likeYou will have already accumulated senior HSEQ responsibilities and experience in a high-risk work environment to enable you to confidently manage the function across both Australia and the UK. This means being able to translate strategy into activities that you will implement with the team to ensure the company protects its people and leads in the field of safety within our industry.Your keys to successMinimum of 5 years' experience in an equivalent senior HSEQ management/business partnering role and at least 10 years' experience within HSEQ.Solid experience within the building, construction, mining, transport or similar high-risk work industry.Degree qualifications in OH&S, environmental management, or relevant discipline.Experience and knowledge of ISO standards including 9001 and 45001.Extensive knowledge of legislation relevant to the industry in Australia and preferably the UK as well.Driver's licence to travel to varying project sites as required.We are an equal opportunity employer and believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion and encourage people of all walks of life to join us on our journey.
