The Role
As the HSEQ Manager, you will be instrumental in driving and mentoring a behavioural safety culture, promoting zero harm across all projects. You will implement and continuously improve an effective HSE management system, ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2016, and manage a team of HSE Advisors. Additionally, you will act as the liaison with government bodies and regulatory agencies, conduct routine safety inspections, develop safety policies, and report on all Work Health and Safety matters to management.

What You Need
The ideal candidate will possess high-level leadership and management skills with well-developed strategic thinking and planning abilities. They will have highly developed written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills for liaison and negotiation, and excellent organisational abilities to set priorities and meet deadlines. Essential qualifications include a Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety or higher, a current ACT Driver's Licence, Construction Safety Induction Cards, and an Asbestos Awareness Card. Additionally, they should have proven experience as an HSEQ Manager in the construction industry, with comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
