Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) provides a range of quality services including cyclical maintenance, preventative and emergency repairs and capital works upgrades to Essential Service and Municipal Service infrastructure in Remote Aboriginal Communities throughout the Kimberley region of Western Australia. With a head office and extensive facilities in Broome, supported by a Perth Corporate office and various regional locations throughout the Kimberley, KRSP has a reputation for technical innovation, reliability, quality of workmanship, and professional services. ABOUT THE POSITIONThis position is a key leadership role within KRSP and provides an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team of senior managers to provide leadership and guidance to the entire KRSP operation. Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the HSEQ Manager is responsible for managing the WHS, Environmental, and Quality performance requirements of KRSP in accordance with legislation and contractual responsibilities of the role:- Continue the development and implementation of the KRSP HSEQ Strategy- Mentor, coach and provide advice to Senior Management and Operational Supervisors responsible for delivering services in a diverse environment with varying skill sets- Facilitate and take an active role in the continual improvement of KRSP's risk management initiatives and processes- Own, continually develop and ensure compliance of the KRSP Integrated Management System including maintaining external ISO certifications- Develop contract plans, undertake risk assessments and monitor practices to ensure compliance with contractual obligations- Oversee the induction process of all employees to KRSP- Manage the HSE Advisor and key safety committees- Lead investigations into any accidents, incidents, hazards, and near misses ABOUT YOUWe are seeking a passionate and engaging HSEQ Manager who has a proven track record of achieving best practice results in a similar position. You will have the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining excellent attention to detail. To be successful in this role you will require:· A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior HSE leadership position· A formal qualification in Occupational Health & Safety· A Lead Auditor – OH&S, Environment and Quality Management Systems qualification· The demonstrated ability to manage change, develop systems and processes and think laterally· Strong leadership skills, an excellent work ethic and an ability to prioritize work LOCATIONThe position is a permanent, residential role based in Broome with travel to project sites. Consideration will be given to a FIFO role (roster to be confirmed) for a suitable candidate.Local Kimberley residents are encouraged to apply as are candidates who are interested in relocating to the Broome region. BENEFITSA competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
