As we continue to deliver & evolve, we are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join our New Energy team. UGL promotes diversity and alternate ways of working, including part-time.
Project Location: Geelong, VIC ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER The HSE Advisor will report directly to the Project Manager & HSE Manager. You will be responsible for providing HSE advice, support, and direction to our project delivery teams on all HSE-related matters.
Main responsibilities include: Providing a timely and responsible S&H serviceInvolvement with the development of Work Packs – methodology and Risk assessmentsEnsuring compliance with the agreed methodology of activity as per the Work Pack and compliance with the organization's S&H policy, procedures, and legislative requirementsAssisting in investigating incidents and accidents, and responding with corrective actionsConduct regular synergy mobility inspections and audits.The successful candidate will require: Minimum certificate 4 in OH&S management; ideally, a Diploma-level qualification in a relevant safety discipline.Strong experience in a similar site-based role in the construction industryRobust understanding of the WHS Act and RegulationsExperience in Safety Management System implementationWHAT WE OFFER UGL promotes diversity and alternate ways of working, including part-time.
