Ongoing Defence, Remediation and Building & Facades projectsVarious project across Darwin with occasional travel to remote projectsResponsible for providing support of HSEQ compliance, management plans and procedures across a range of Construction and Remediation Defence projects. This opportunity will see an experienced HSE Advisor stepping into a well-established safety team, overseeing compliance across multiple sites throughout the NT region.
THE ROLE Assist project teams in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentationCoach, advise and educate site personnel on legislative requirements & changes to comply with company proceduresAdminister incident and hazard reporting processes and actions as per company proceduresAssist management to encourage a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible working culture amongst personnelConduct HSEQ site inspections and auditsCoach site teams on effective delivery of pre-start meetings and Toolbox meetingsCoordinate HESQ training programs including the maintenance of competency standardsActively analyse HSEQ performance, reporting, system updatesMaintain the company Integrated Management System to an accredited levelCompile project specific HSEQ documentation to support tender bids as neededABOUT YOU Prior experience leading HSEQ in construction and remediation worksExcellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlinesCapable of managing incidents and completing reports using the ICAM processMinimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a HSE advisor role, within the construction industryTertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a similar disciplineDefence site experience is highly regardedExperience in the creation and reviewing of Management Plans, SWMS, JHA's and conducting AuditsUnderstanding of Quality Management processesAbility to operate autonomously whilst ensuring project efficiencyMust be able to obtain a DCAC passTHE BENEFITS Ongoing rewards & recognition programsAccess to everyday discounts from Australia's leading retailers with FlarePaid parental leaveEmployee referral programs up to $2000Salary sacrifice optionsEmployee Assistance ProgramNovated lease optionsFirst Aid and Mental First Aid Support OfficersSubmit your resume today and start a conversation with one of our recruiters.
