About the Opportunity We are seeking a skilled HSEQ Advisor to join our team on a 10-month maternity leave cover , supporting two key facility management contracts responsible for delivery of cleaning, catering, reactive repairs, cyclical maintenance and minor-capital project works.
This FIFO role offers an 8:6 roster (8 days on, 6 days off) based in Karratha (WA) and focuses on providing operational support while fostering strong engagement with key stakeholders.
Reporting to the General Manager, HSE, Sustainability & Resourcing, you will play a pivotal role in upholding and exceeding HSEQ compliance standards, driving our strong safety culture at Programmed, and contributing to the delivery of vital services for our communities.

Through exceptional HSEQ management, your key responsibilities will be: Lead and champion health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) initiatives across two facility management contracts.
Provide guidance and support to ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and relevant legislation.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to maintain a safe and sustainable environment.
Work closely with stakeholders to foster a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
Manage incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and resolution.
Establishes close working relationships with key stakeholders and supports client HSEQ interventions aligned with Programmed's values.
About You We are seeking an experienced HSEQ professional with a background in residential, facility management, or similar environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HSEQ systems and legislation, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, and relevant qualifications in HSEQ or Workplace Health & Safety, or , equivalent working experience.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following: Highly developed communication and robust stakeholder engagement ability.
Proactive approach to relationship management.
Acute attention to detail.
Commercial aptitude.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & Powerpoint).
Work Safety Management system experience preferred; Noggin, highly desirable.
