With multiple projects launching soon, we're seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations, supporting the HSEQ Manager and contributing to the success of high-profile projects.Key Responsibilities:Conducting regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and perform comprehensive risk assessments, addressing potential safety issues proactively.Contributing expert Health & Safety guidance in the development of Safe Work Method Statements, Job Hazard Environmental Analyses, and risk assessments to ensure effective safety planning.Assisting work teams with risk identification, JHEA preparation, and team-based risk assessments to enhance safety awareness and practices.Participating in incident investigations, utilizing root cause analysis to uncover underlying issues and implement SMART corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.Conduct safety inductions for new employees, ensuring they are aware of all safety protocols and procedures.Providing guidance and support to Health & Safety representatives to strengthen their role and effectiveness in the workplace.Reviewing current work procedures regularly to identify and implement improvements in hazard control measures and operational safety practices.Monitor and analyze trends in workplace safety performance to identify areas for improvement and address potential risks.Support and advise site management on all safety, medic and environmental matters.Offering coaching, advice, and support to the site team to ensure the successful implementation and auditing of Health & Safety Plans and Procedures.Keep comprehensive records of all safety and environmental data, including incidents, reports, and related documentation.Generate and manage safety reports to track safety performance.Receive, organize, and securely file all safety-related information.Correlate and analyze safety performance statistics to support ongoing safety management efforts.What You'll Need:Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (mandatory)White CardA current WA Manual Driver's LicenceAt least 3 years of hands-on safety experience in the mining or resource industryPractical knowledge of WA WHSA, WHSMR, and relevant Australian Standards and Codes of PracticeExperience in incident investigations, auditing, and workplace inspectionsBackground in construction, mining, and resource industries, with exposure to large-scale projectsAbility to commit to a 2:1 FIFO roster from PerthRio Tinto induction (advantageous but not mandatory)Why Join Us?
