About the role As a HSEQ Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable mining operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of autonomous systems and energy-efficient technologies across our projects, while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ). Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HSEQ strategies, policies, and procedures specifically tailored to autonomous systems and energy transition initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with emerging technologies. - Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Provide training and awareness programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. - Analyse data and metrics to continuously improve HSEQ performance and drive operational excellence. About You - Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or Engineering). - Proven experience in HSEQ roles within the mining or heavy industry sectors. - Knowledge of autonomous systems, energy transition technologies, and their associated risks and challenges. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
