HSEC Assurance Officer (12 Month Fixed-Term) Ravensworth Operations Ravensworth, NSW Ravensworth Complex comprises of the Ravensworth Open Cut and Coal Handling Preparation Plant that provides high quality coal for the export market. The operation has approval to mine over 14Mtpa, with a mine life to 2036 with potential continuation opportunities.

About the Role Reporting to the Environment and Community Manager, this is a key role where you will support the team to ensure the Health, Safety, Environment and Community systems and processes meet or exceed both Company and Legislative requirements.
Do you get job satisfaction from the ability to: Develop and implement an annual and three-year internal assurance program that meets Ravensworth Operations, GCAA and legislative requirements. Understand your role in monitoring the Catastrophic and Fatal hazards compliance and support hazard and control owners. Plan, co-ordinate and participate in internal and external assurance and compliance audits in-line with the annual audit schedule. Develop and retain strong knowledge of the functionality and application of the HSEC Compliance systems. Ongoing development and implementation of a robust assurance and compliance strategy across the operation. Is this the right opportunity for you?
