And as we grow and deliver that pipeline of projects in the coming years, we will continue to serve our communities and deliver the power that Queensland needs.About the roleThis is a full-time permanent opportunity that can be based at any Stanwell site.The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist – Operations Systems is responsible for the operational management, compliance, governance and continuous improvement of Stanwell's principal Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) technical solutions and of our Safe Systems of Work and other system tools, applications and processes that operationalise our HSE management.Key systems and processes include but are not limited to:The Stanwell Safe Work System (permit to work) - ePASIntegrated solution for managing HSE and other business division's Compliance, Risk, Events and Actions – EARS (Evotix product)Chemical Management System (ChemAlert)Key activities include:Lead and manage the execution of the strategic initiatives for the organisations principal HSE operational systems as part of the overall HSE Strategy (as listed above).Manage and continuously improve Stanwell's HSE Operation supporting systems, processes and tools, training and ongoing performance, with support from internal application support and business analysts (Stanwell ICT resources).Lead the business auditing of Stanwell's safe work system, and governance reviews of other HSE operation tools as required.Maintain effective relationships within the HSE team, the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) team, the broader Stanwell Operations division and other key technical leaders throughout the business.About youHigh level of experience in the development, management, maintaining and continuous improvement of integrated safe systems of work (i.e. whole of work permit to work systems), especially within the utilities industry.High level of experience with the strategic management, continuous improvement and use of complex applications and technical solutions for health, safety and environment systems and safe work systems, including vendor supplied ICT tools.Degree level qualifications in Health and Safety and/or Environmental Science (or higher qualification) or related relevant discipline or equivalent experience (desirable).What's next?To submit your application, please apply online with your CV.Further information on Stanwell can be found online at www.stanwell.comAs part of the recruitment process, you may be required to undertake pre-employment checks (may include police checks, AusCheck, medical assessment and/or drug and alcohol testing).Inclusion and diversity is an important part of shaping Stanwell's culture and how our workplace operates.
