This QLD based organisation are forging their way to becoming a leading business in renewable energy. Due to significant amount of growth in projects, they are now recruiting for HSE Specialists to be at the forefront of fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Reporting into the HSE Lead, you will be responsible for the following: Implement and ensure adherence to HSE management plans and tools at project levels, providing onsite support to guarantee health, safety and environmental standards are met; Conduct initial risk assessments and deliver HSEQ documentation within contractual milestones, providing HSE insights during tender phases; Lead project-specific risk workshops, training programs and management plan development, ensuring effective closure of audit actions and non-conformances; Verify plant and equipment competencies for safe operation, adhering to OEM and calibration requirements; Assist in the development and improvement of the Yurika HSE Management System; Conduct site visits for compliance and audit purposes, supporting incident investigations and client audits; and Cultivate strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, embodying. About you You will ideally hold an Advanced Diploma and / or have relative experience working within a heavy industry / construction / major projects environment. You will have developed specific HSE systems tailored for high-risk construction activities, leveraging your industry experience in power, energy, or renewables. You will have proven experience in outstanding project and program management skills, coupled with excellent time management and analytical abilities, to prioritise tasks and achieve desired outcomes. You will be able to showcase how you have championed a culture of learning from incidents and events, challenging behaviours and supporting management in promoting positive stories. Role specifics These positions are on a 10 / 4 roster from Brisbane or Regional QLD. You will travel to and from site in work time; You will be provided with flights and accommodation; and This is an initial contract role with the view for extension.
