Hse Specialist

Chevron Australia are seeking a HSE Specialist for a 12-month contract with potential to extend.
Key responsibilities include: Primary Project site HSE representative with day to day interface of oil and gas drilling and/or construction contractors HSE and site leadership teams. Lead site safety inspections and OE/COEM assurance reviews. Lead site based Safety Case and EP assurance activities. Champion site safety culture, and alignment with IIF principles and participation in Site based safety leadership meetings. Ensure site based compliance with Chevron contract HSE requirements. Participate as required in progress meetings, walkthroughs, II&R and IIF implementation IMPACT II&R entry and initial reporting. Assures that contractor is following agreed safe work practices and being managed correctly at oil and gas drilling and/or construction sites. Participates in OIC II&R investigations as needed.
