HSE Manager Location: Perth CBD, with ad hoc site visits.
Roster: 5/2 (Monday to Friday)

About the Role
UGL is seeking a passionate and experienced HSE Manager to join our team based in Perth CBD. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance across our operations. You will play a key leadership role, driving a culture of safety excellence and proactive risk management.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage HSE functions across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with UGL's standards and relevant legislation.Provide expert advice and strategic direction to management and project teams on HSE matters.Develop, implement, and monitor HSE systems, policies, and initiatives to achieve zero-harm outcomes.Oversee and conduct incident investigations, risk assessments, and audits, delivering actionable recommendations.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and implementing best practices in safety and environmental management.Mentor and support HSE professionals within the team, enhancing capability and performance.Act as the primary HSE contact for internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment with client expectations.About You: Proven experience in a senior HSE role, preferably within oil & gas, construction, resources, or heavy industry sectors.Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.Comprehensive knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and risk management principles.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive cultural change.Proficiency in incident investigation methodologies and HSE management systems.Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic environments, balancing multiple priorities effectively.Ability and willingness to travel to sites for regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to assist in maintaining a safe and sustainable environment.What We Offer: Perth CBD office location with a family-friendly 5/2 roster (Monday to Friday).Competitive remuneration package.Opportunities for career growth and professional development within a global organization.A supportive, safety-focused culture committed to continuous improvement.What makes you right for UGL: Genuine concern for safety.Ability to provide a safe, supportive and positive workplace.Capacity to flourish in a high-performance environment.An innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the norm.A belief that success and value are driven by real teams where everyone has a role to play.About Us:
