Be a part of a major project which involves the export of natural gas from offshore reservoirs to the Darwin LNG facility.

Due to our current growth, we are seeking to appoint a HSE manager on a 9-month fixed term contract to join the Darwin Pipeline Duplication Project.

As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following: Managing a small HSE team of Administrators and Advisors Manage all HSEQ policies, procedures, and guidelines for currency and internal adherence.
Ensure compliance with relevant WHS and E legislation.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including local communities and government bodies.
Attend daily toolbox / prestart meetings to keep abreast of project OHS initiatives and activities.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for construction, operation, and transportation.
Provide leadership that encourages management and project teams to create a continuous improvement culture.
Support, coordinate, and provide advice on safety practices, systems, and procedures.
Coordinate health & wellbeing training, workshops, meetings, and site inductions.
What do you bring?
In addition to the above, we require an individual with:
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent Minimum of 10 years of experience within a HSE leadership role Experience working on large scale brownfield projects within oil & gas In-depth knowledge of Australian HSE regulations, standards, and best practices for onshore facilities In-depth understanding of pipeline and LNG safety standards and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in HSE management software, tools, and strong safety and health track records.
Able to work on a fly in/fly out basis and industry standard work cycle on a DIDO or FIFO 21:7 roster.
