Hse Field Advisor

Our client requires a HSE Field Advisor who has experience in high-risk environments to support them on a 12-month project. Experience working in civil operation, bulk excavation, and concrete pours will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities

Provide advice in accordance with relevant WHS legislation, Australian Standards, directives, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Facilitate, develop, and provide relevant safety information and communications to the site leadership team for toolbox briefings, inductions, and prestart briefings.
Assist in the continuous development of procedures, plans, and documents.
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure the project's compliance.
Liaise with internal & external stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, management, and project team members.
Lead incident investigations and provide recommendations to prevent reoccurrences.
Promote a culture of safety through training, workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management.

Requirements

3 years+ experience in a similar HSEQ role.
Minimum of Certificate IV in OHS/WHS.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices within the civil construction.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
