Hse Coordinator - Fifo - 8/6 Roster

Health, Safety & Environment (Construction) SSA Group has partnered with a leading residential builder based out of Perth who is seeking a HSE coordinator for a FIFO position in the Pilbara. Our client is a well-established established organisation, primarily servicing a major Pilbara iron ore producer. What will you need to be a successful candidate?  Experienced in construction and mining resources, with the ability to work on-site, remotely, or from the Perth office. Cert IV Training and Assessment Certificate IV OH&S or Diploma Excellent communication abilities. A current driver's licence. Ability to pass medical and D&A screenings. Your new Responsibilities  Ability to instruct trades and labourers on safe working methods in a mining and resource contracting environment. Provide HSE administrative support to the site staff. Manage HSE communications with all stakeholders. Ensure that the company maintains WHS compliance, including DMIRS and, in particular, asbestos removal duties. Ability to use appropriate PPE, including fit testing. Manage workforce training, skills, and currency, and provide VOC training. Maintain the training matrix and direct training requirements. Management of tool, vehicle, and plant maintenance, as well as tagging and compliance. Conduct site inspections, and instruct or reprimand people as needed. Provide and keep a recent model smartphone in functioning order. Make presentations to clients and others at safety meetings and conferences.
