Job description Fetch Recruitment are currently looking to speak to HSE Coordinators within Melbourne for a Tier 3 Commercial builder.
The Company: Tier 3 Commercial builder, delivering projects up to $100m in Victoria. Over 15+ years' operating in Victoria and New South Wales. Fantastic pipeline of repeat clients, built from long lasting relationships. 140+ Current employees. Excellent training and development plan with a structured 12-month plan.
The Role: Help project teams and contractors fully engage with our HSE software platforms, such as Hammertech. Cultivate a continuous learning approach towards health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices, aiding in audits, inspections, and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards. Forecast necessary project HSE supplies, such as signage, safety equipment, and other requirements, to ensure project teams are fully equipped to fulfill their responsibilities. Work both on-site and in the office, with most tasks performed in the office. (80% Office and 20% Site). Offer support to management, project teams, and contractors regarding safety and environmental responsibilities, including the preparation, review, and maintenance of related documentation. Assist in reviewing essential data and reports (ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001) and contribute to developing strategies to address any identified weaknesses. Enhance employee HSE training by contributing to the development and delivery of internal programs and managing the booking process with external training providers. Assist in reporting and resolving workplace incidents, including follow-up on corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness. Engage in risk management practices and ensure quality management through the maintenance of records and documents related to health, safety, and environmental matters. Create client-specific HSE documentation (e.g., SWMS) to support the Defects Manager and post-completion teams in meeting and exceeding client expectations. Must have: 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role. Minimum of Certificate 4 in OHS / Diploma in OHS. Experience working within construction (Commercial experience highly regarded).
