Snowy 2.0 is a nation-building renewable energy project that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.
The purpose of this position is to manage and provide direct support for all aspects of Health and Safety across the Snowy2.0 project.
As the Health and Safety (HS) Business Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with Transgrid policies and procedures, and relevant safety legislation.
It is expected that you will add value to the team through providing specialist advice, and coordination services on all project lifecycle matters relating to Health and Safety.
You will be working in conjunction with the Transgrid construction/site managers on a 3 week on/ 1 week off roster or you can do a 10/4 roster (10 days on site maximum, 2 days working from home and 2 days off) the choice is yours.
Ability to travel and be based on site is essential to this role.

Transgrid's part in this project involves the construction of nine kilometres of high-voltage transmission lines across the Tumut River, connecting to a 330kV switching station nestled in the Bago State Forest.

Tertiary qualifications at degree or associate diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent relevant experience.
Extensive, relevant Transmission industry and / or large infrastructure project experience in HS roles A comprehensive knowledge of the requirements of HS legislative agencies, relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and Guidelines (including the National Electricity Network Safety Code), Industry Safety Rules and Guidelines.
A comprehensive understanding of HS systems and programs as well as Risk Management principles.
Incident Investigation Qualification (e.g.
