Port Hedland is a town in the Pilbara region, situated on the north coast of Western Australia.
About the Role:
Goodline requires an experienced and qualified HSE Advisor to join our Port Hedland team. This position requires high level of attention to detail, technical skill and knowledge. Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, the HSE Advisor is a key member of the Port Hedland operations team providing advisory, compliance and auditing services to our teams across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building and civil disciplines. A thorough understanding of WHS, environmental and quality management principles, legislation and standards are important for this role.
This role requires a collaborative style working closely with our people and client project leaders to uphold standards and expectations across multiple work fronts. The successful candidates will be proactive in leading incident and event investigations, and seeking out HSE solutions.
About You:
Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety Cert IV Training and Assessing ICAM Investigation Training (desirable) Qualification in lead auditing (desirable) You will be a team player with outstanding communication and leadership skills, who is passionate about all aspects of safety leadership. You will have experience in field leadership including coaching operational leaders in this area and will work with a diverse team of skilled tradespeople, supervision, and management to ensure each team has a sound understanding of safety compliance and requirements. Embracing a proactive safety culture, you will be willing to comply with all site policies and procedures and have the flexibility to undertake a variety of different tasks and scopes.
