ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER Project Location: Geelong, VIC
The HSE Advisor will report directly to the Project Manager & HSE Manager. You will be responsible for providing HSE advice, support, and direction to our project delivery teams on all HSE-related matters. Main responsibilities include:
Providing a timely and responsible S&H service
Involvement with the development of Work Packs – methodology and Risk assessments
Ensuring compliance with the agreed methodology of activity as per the Work Pack and compliance with the organization's S&H policy, procedures, and legislative requirements
Assisting in investigating incidents and accidents, and responding with corrective actions
Conducting regular synergy mobility inspections and audits.
The successful candidate will require:
Minimum certificate 4 in OH&S management; ideally, a Diploma-level qualification in a relevant safety discipline.
Strong experience in a similar site-based role in the construction industry
Robust understanding of the WHS Act and Regulations
Experience in Safety Management System implementation
