The OpportunityWe are seeking an industry experienced site Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) advisor to work with our Transmission Lines team on our landmark Golden Plains Windfarm project located near Rokewood, in regional Victoria.
In this role, you will be responsible for site safety in accordance with WH&S legislation and regulatory requirements to ensure the safe delivery of the project.
You will champion HSE initiatives and partner with operations to keep our people safe and deliver quality projects.
Your responsibilities will include:Implementing and maintaining our WHSE system on site to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and established performance standardsAssisting in the planning, execution and monitoring of high-risk work activities to ensure successful HSE outcomesConducting or assisting site inspections and investigationsDeveloping and delivering internal communications and leading community meetings and toolbox sessionsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:
A qualification in either Work Health Safety, Environment, or equivalent experienceField experience in a high-risk industry such as electrical or constructionTransmission line experience is highly regardedPrevious experience in a site-based safety/audit roleA track record of inspiring safety leadershipGreat communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with all staff and visiting stakeholdersWorking with local HV utilities, regulators and renewable clients will be highly regarded however not essentialWhy Join Us?At CPP our people are our most important asset.
