Across the Monadelphous workforce, you will find stories of people who took an opportunity to make a difference with us and built a career and lifetime friendships as a result.We employ nearly 7,500 highly- skilled people who contribute positively to our operations and the communities in which we operate.Ours is a culture built over 50 years, and it's the reason for our continued success.Monadelphous has been operating in New South Wales since 2000 and is well-established as a local business.Opportunities now exist for appropriately skilled people who are keen to join the Monadelphous family and grow with us in this region.We are looking for a highly motivated HSE Advisor to join our NSW Operations Team, playing a crucial role in providing HSE support across multiple sites in the Hunter Valley Region.This HSE Advisor position is a permanent local role based out the Mt Thorley Office.Key Responsibilities include but not limited to.Provide HSE advice and support to Projects and or Sites to resolve HSE issues and to improve HSE processes and performance.Coordinate implementation of the HSE Management System, maintain HSE registers, and prepare HSE information and dissemination to others.Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA's, permits etc.comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.Facilitate meetings, trainings sessions; site inductions, toolbox topics and/or group discussions regarding HSE.Establish effective relationships with Project/Business Unit HSE and Management.Why Us?We provide the benefits you'd expect from a leading Australian company, but what makes us different?Our work.We offer diverse, challenging work on some of the world's biggest resources, energy and infrastructure projects.Our culture.We're solution focused, reliable and embrace a 'can-do' team environment.Our loyalty.We want you to reach your potential, we'd like to help you get there.What you will bring Experience within NSW resourcing sector high desirable but not essential.Certificate IV qualification in OHS and / or Environmental or related area is essential.Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar is preferred.Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation, mining legislation and industry standards combined with strong written and verbal communication skills.Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)  A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods.Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively.A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure.Valid Australian Driver's Licence  Proof of right to work in Australia.Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and we live by our promise: The safe way is the only way.We embrace the benefits of employing hardworking people from rich and varied backgrounds, so we encourage applications that contribute to our diverse workplace.A career at Monadelphous is a career with a difference.Make it yours.
