About the role: As part of the Health Safety and Environment team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the corporation's health and safety performance, working with a dedicated team to proactively implement proactive strategies and initiatives to ensure optimal health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide professional health and safety advice to employees and leaders, focusing on developing, implementing, and maintaining proactive initiatives; Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor workplace culture and promote enthusiasm for a positive safety culture; Coach and support leaders n enhancing safety leadership values; Implement and maintain a Safety Management System integrated into the business; Conduct risk assessments, audits, and work with the leaders to complete incident investigations; and Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and requirements. About you: To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess the following: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety; Minimum 3 years experience in heavy industry dealing with complex health and safety issues; Experience in implementing Health and Safety Management Plans; In-depth understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards; Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; and Ability to provide constructive advice and support during audits, incidents, and emergencies.
