Across the Monadelphous workforce, you will find stories of people who took an opportunity to make a difference with us and built a career and lifetime friendships as a result.We employ nearly 6,000 highly skilled people who contribute positively to our operations and the communities where we work.Ours is a culture built over 50 years, and it's the reason for our continued success.Our Engineering Construction division at Monadelphous provides large scale, multidisciplinary project management and construction services through specialised business units.We have built a strong reputation of producing quality work and maintaining a clear customer and safety focus.From concept and completion through to hand over, we provide services and solutions for major construction projects in all phases of development.About the role: Monadelphous is seeking experienced HSE Advisor's to contribute to the safe execution of our Major Lithium Construction project and an Iron Ore shutdown project in Western Australia.There are both DIDO 2:1 and FIFO 2:1 rosters on offer with a competitive salary packages, site uplifts, and PCB incentives.Drawing from your previous experience you will: Provide HSE advice and expertise to manage HSE issues and to improve HSE performance, culture and management.Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and training/awareness.Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA's, permits etc.comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards Provide hands on support to implement HSE improvements, plans or solutions.Maintain knowledge of contemporary HSE practices to recommend and implement effective HSE solutions.Conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis and investigations on HSE performance data to identify performance trends and areas of concern/risk at a Project and or Site level.Propose and follow-up on recommendations for action.What you will bring Minimum 3+ years experience in a site-based HSE role, ideally working for similar construction contractors on multi-disciplinary scopes of work Certificate IV qualification in OHS/WHS Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment preferred Applied First Aid Certificate Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively A proactive, motivated mindset and someone who thrives when working under pressure Valid Australian Driver's Licence Proof of right to work in Australia Why Us?We provide the benefits you'd expect from a leading Australian company, but what makes us different?Our work.We offer diverse, challenging work on some of the world's biggest resources, energy and infrastructure projects.Our culture.We're solution focused, reliable and embrace a 'can-do' team environment.Our loyalty.We want you to reach your potential, we'd like to help you get there.Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and we live by our promise: The safe way is the only way.We embrace the benefits of employing hardworking people from a range of backgrounds, so we encourage applications that contribute to our diverse workplace.If you would like to see our Diversity Policy, please visit our website.A career at Monadelphous is a career with a difference.Make it yours.
