About the role Based locally in Port Hedland, you will provide HSE support to our organisation and support our commitment to our site services projects on various mine sites in the Central Pilbara Region. Reporting operationally to the Yurala General Manager, you will be responsible for:Implementing, and continually improving Yurala HSEQ systemsPreparing and implementing plans and strategies to ensure a safe work environmentEnsuring effective consultation and communication with team membersIdentifying hazards and assessing and controlling risks in the workplaceUndertaking regular inspections, audits, and field safety leadership activitiesrecording and investigating injuries and equipment damage, and reporting safety performancecoordinating the return of injured worked into the workplaceSupporting the Site Supervisors and Superintendent with HSEQ and training of PPE and safe work mattersSupporting the site HSE team in Leading incident investigations and development of corrective actionsPromoting and supporting a positive approach to mental health and wellbeingEnsuring effective and timely reporting of incidents, hazards and HSEQ KPI'sHSE qualifications or currently studying HSE3-5 years of experience in a HSE rolePreferred criteriaOperational experienceMental health and physical first aid qualifications Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
