About the Opportunity: In order to achieve our growth strategies, we are now seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team working across a number of our sites in WA.
Reporting directly to the HSE Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide support, guidance and technical advice to line management and site workers in relation to HSE, ensuring the team maintains a safe workplace/environment across all locations.
Your responsibilities will include: Assisting drill crews in Risk Management processConducting Inspections and Audits at remote locationsAssisting with incident investigations using the ICAM processLeading the review and development of operational procedures and work instructionsMaintaining data and registers in HSE Management softwareParticipating in the development of WHS planning, policies and proceduresCompleting testing and tagging in remote locationsAbout You: Have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the mining industry, preferably with exposure to diamond drilling.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum diploma level qualifications in WHS and ICAM training.
Experienced in coaching supervisors and frontline workers.
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional time management and organisational skills; the ability to travel long distances and work on remote sites.
Salary and FIFO rosters, preference is 2/1, will be discussed individually with applicants.
