What role will you play?As HSE Advisor, you will support the development, implementation and review of robust HSE systems, solutions, and procedures across our renewable energy projects.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including development and construction teams, ensuring safe, healthy and successful project delivery while exceeding our commitments for environmental compliance.
This role demands strong independent work ethic and exceptional teamwork.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement HSE engagement strategies, systems, proceduresContribute to relevant HSE plans at the project levelExperience monitoring HSE performance for projects and implement HSE plans or interventions to address performance or for continuous performanceImplement and actively promote the use of and event/incident reporting for each project and across the businessProactively share industry learnings and provide assurance with HSE requirements.Support the business as required with the delivery of HSE contractor forums for critical contracting engagementsSupport and measure application of the HSE Contractor Management FrameworkWhat you offerDirect experience with a project developer, utility, energy or infrastructure business performing an HSE roleExperience with working with multiple primary contractor projects with an understanding of contractor, sub-contractor relationships and familiar with Contractor Management processesExpertise in the implementation of the components of an HSE management system along with exposure to contractor management and tendering principlesDemonstrated track record coaching and supporting a positive HSE culture, aligned with HSE strategyA degree (or equivalent relevant professional qualification) in health and safety, environmental, science or business-related subjectAn understanding of auditing/investigations and demonstrated risk management skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsThe role will require regular travel to regional areas in QLD, SA and other locations.A key aspect of our success is a strong focus on workplace health, safety and environment, as well as the ability to work in a diverse and inclusive business environment.We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us.
