About the Role
This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of health, safety, and wellbeing strategies. The focus is on preventing incidents, mitigating risks, and cultivating a proactive safety culture. You'll have the opportunity to drive key initiatives that align with the organisation's business goals and champion continuous improvement in workplace safety practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures.Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations for mitigation.Facilitate training programs to enhance health and safety awareness across the organisation.Lead investigations and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.Provide expert guidance on WHS legislation and support the safety management system to maintain compliance.About You
You will hold a Certificate IV in WHS or a tertiary qualification in a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar health and safety role supporting multiple sites. To succeed in this role, you will also bring:
Proven ability to build strong relationships, providing support, coaching, and influence at all levels of the organisation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effectively engaging with both frontline staff and senior leaders.Adaptable and self-motivated, excelling in fast-paced, dynamic environments.A proactive mindset with a focus on driving efficiencies and fostering continuous improvement.Experience with ICAM or Taproot investigations is advantageous but not essential.Why Apply?
