We are currently looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join one of our clients, an energy storage company who are assisting in the construction of a large battery project in Muswellbrook on a 24 month fixed term contract.Role SummarySupport line management to implement and improve safety processes and practices that meetorganisational safety objectives. Provide accurate subject matter guidance on HSE challenges and work closely with the project team, client and contractors.Report as required on project HSE performance and monitor and maintain project HSE files and data within the clients integrated document management systems (DMS).This position will be site based and may require some travel.Essential ResponsibilitiesImplement, monitor, and maintain project HSE safe systems of work and project document and records.Implement, monitor, and enforce project safety rules and protocolsDevelop and implement project plans, procedures and processes aligned to project scopeDevelop, implement, enforce, and monitor project induction program and training programsDevelop processes for verification of competencyReport HSE project performanceLead, facilitate, monitor, analyze, review, and report serious work, health, safety, environment and quality incidents investigations.Develop & review causal and root cause factorsMonitor and report on status of corrective and preventative actionsDevelop and implement project specific HSE plans, procedures and processes as requiredImplement, conduct, and report on project assurance and governance requirementsDevelop, implement and monitor HSE training programsDevelop and maintain project risk and aspect and impact registersLead, develop, mentor, and coach, project resources as necessary.Participate in performance review processes as requiredLead, conduct and participate in project leadership activities (safety walks, inspections, engagement, and observations etc.).Monitor and report on injured workers status and develop return to work plans as necessaryQualifications5+ years in energy sector in Project HSE advisory rolesProficient in Microsoft Suite and database managementProficient investigative skillset with proven experience in using causation investigation modelsGood communication,Good report writingStrong presentation and stakeholder management skillsetGood analytical skillsetLead auditor (9001, 45001 / 4801, 14001 management systems) highly desirableBESS / Battery Storage experience highly desirable#J-18808-Ljbffr
