Job DescriptionThe Role Join the Pacific Energy Remote Power team, as they deliver sustainable power generation assets throughout Australia.
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we have an opportunity for a HSE Advisor on a 2:1 roster to support our Remote Power Project Delivery Team. This is a cross functional role to the business and offers a variety of both HSE and general business activities as the project requires.
Key Responsibilities: Contribute to HSE discussions, training, risk assessments, toolbox discussions and other HSE InitiativesFacilitate toolboxes, Health and Safety Meetings and training presentations throughout the businessProvide feedback on HSE management system documentation and toolsCoordinate the investigation and reporting of reportable incidents and accidents in the workplaceReview personnel medicals and other onboarding requirementsAssist in the development and implementation of the safety induction, safe act observation and VOC programsCreate relevant safety documentationAssist in the assessment of impacts on Safety and Environment of planned and actual changes to the workplace and work practicesOffer stakeholders direction regarding safety, health, environmental and training.Assist in injury and incident management in line with company procedure.Assist in project and general business HSE safety requirementsTrack compliance across the business with regards to relevant accreditations (ISO, CM3 etc)Manage accreditation and reaccreditation applications/process (ISO, CM3 etc)Verify that all company and regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.Inspect and audit the workplace (including remote, non-metro sites) in accordance with the Internal Audit ScheduleEnsure compliance with Pacific Energy HSEQ, policies and proceduresFoster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamworkDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout You: Competent use in MS Office software programHigh level knowledge in QMS policies and proceduresTraining Lead auditor trained to ISO 9001, 45001, 14001Minimum Cert IV in WHSExperience in Auditing Experience working to the standards of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001Prompt culture of quality, continuous improvement and risk mitigationAdditional benefits include: Additional four days per annum of Personal Business LeaveOpportunity to apply for additional leave (Purchase Leave)Employee Retention Bonus ProgramSalary continuance insuranceRewards Gateway for our employeesEmployee Referral RewardWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer
