HSE AdvisorJoin a tier 1 commercial builder company renowned for delivering complex and high-quality projects in WA for over 35 years.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a HSE Advisor to join the team in the new year!We are looking for a HSE Advisor with onsite experience on commercial construction projects.
You will play a critical role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld on-site.
You will oversee safety practices across various subcontractors and manage all phases of construction projects.
This is a dynamic role requiring a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on-site.Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.Collaborate with subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, etc.)
to ensure adherence to safety practices and standards.Manage safety protocols across different phases of construction, from project initiation through to completion.Address safety concerns and incidents promptly, providing effective solutions and recommendations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance site safety.Promote a culture of safety, encouraging staff and subcontractors to adhere to best practices and report hazards.Experience:3+ years' experience in commercial construction.Demonstrated ability to manage health, safety, and environmental practices across a project from start to finish.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box and address complex safety challenges.Experience dealing with multiple subcontractors and coordinating safety efforts across various trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.
