About the Opportunity We are seeking an Experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor (HSE) for works based at our new Midwest Mineral Sands Project. As a HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance and well-being of our team. This role will work closely with site management, whilst being strongly supported by our Bunbury, WA based HSE team. Based 180km north of Perth, this is a fantastic Drive In / Drive Out position, that can offer ongoing works.
About the Role Development, coordination and monitoring of the company safety policy, programs and procedures Ensure consultative mechanisms are developed and that consultation is occurring between management and employees Evaluation of safety products and personal protective equipment which are used within the organisation Job Hazard Analysis and safe working procedure development Consult / advise to senior management Conduct investigations and analysis of incidents, first aid, hazard and accident reports, to identify root causes and trends Monitor and keep up to date with Legislative requirements and OSH literature relevant to the company operations Induction of manager, supervisors and employees as to the company safety management systems Development and coordination of OHS training programs for all employees Keep organizational HSE records and statistics Periodic auditing of HSE management systems About You 3+ Years Experience in a similar role Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety ICAM Lead Investigator Training First Aid Certificate (Senior or higher) Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees Strong interpersonal and communication skills Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence Ability to obtain a valid National Police Clearance You must have working rights in Australia Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen About the Offer 7:7 Days Only Roster* - 12 Hour Shifts Attractive Salary Package Great camp with meals, gym, sporting facilities and planned activities DIDO Role Great benefits including Corporate HBF private health discount, discounted hotel stays and travel incentives Employee Assistance Programme for all employees and immediate family Opportunity to work for an industry leading organisation with one of the largest CAT fleets in the Southern Hemisphere Family owned and operated business from our offices based in Bunbury, Western Australia *Roster arrangement may change
