We are on the lookout for a safety professional with a background in construction or mining for a site-based role in Queensland, as well as further ongoing projects throughout Australia.
The role is a permanent full-time position, hired directly by our client.

About You
You love being in the field and building strong relationships with everyone from the work crews to site management.
At least 1-2 years of experience in a site-based HSE role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
Cert IV in Training and Assessing (highly regarded)
Incident investigation experience and/or ICAM qualification
Duties and Responsibilities May Include:
Field leadership and interactions
Guiding, mentoring, and advising employees at all levels of the workforce on matters related to HSEQ
Providing support to the wider HSE team function, including both the site and Perth-based teams
Conducting site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for future risk mitigation
Collating and analyzing data and key metrics for reporting
Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the HSEQ management system
Assisting with any incident investigations and following up accordingly
Reviewing any documentation, including JHAs, risk assessments, and safe work practices
Assisting with any training requirements as needed
