CPB Contractors has more than 50 major infrastructure projects in delivery, across all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads and bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings and resources, providing you with career opportunities for years to come.The ProjectThe Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including: Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)RAAF Base WaggaThe proposed capital investment of $1.7b will incorporate a variety of elements including: Construction of new messing and living in accommodationConstruction of new training facilitiesRefurbishment and upgrading of existing buildingsRemedial works and upgrades to infrastructure servicesYour opportunityReporting to the Safety Manager, the Safety Administrator will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely administrative support to the team and contributing to the successful and safe delivery of the project.Your Responsibilities In The Role Will Include Entering and extracting data from the incident management systemAssisting the site teams with training materials and presentationsSupporting, coordinating, and providing advice on safety practices, systems and procedures across the projectCommunicate safety requirements to subcontractors onsitePreparing and updating all required Project Safety Plans and registersTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will RequireRelevant experience working as a Safety Administrator within the construction industryKnowledge of project risk management controls and actionsKnowledge of auditing, safety inspections and compliance reporting procedures and processesExperience in document compliance procedures and processes and understanding of technology to support SHE(Q) systemsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work well within a teamThe ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externallyThis role is locally based and for those outside of Albury/Wodonga/Wagga areas, relocation is required.
