As an HR Business Partner based in Clayton, Victoria, you will translate the team strategies into an HR agenda and execution plan that will enable the delivery of business goals.
You will identify and execute talent, total rewards, capability building, and cultural initiatives, in partnership with the HR COE's, that increase PPG performance.
You will report to the HRBP IS Ops Lead, ANZ.
This HR business partner will play an integral role by providing program leadership on HR-wide talent, culture, and organizational initiatives that drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Translate the business / functional and corporate strategies into the (global, regional, local) HR agenda, enabled by data and analytics.
Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to (business / function / site) leadership, using data to identify and develop talent, total rewards, engagement, performance, culture, and capability building to (global, regional, and local) business outcomes.
Deliver short- and long-term sustainable business / function performance through strategic capability building.
Ensure Global execution of HR strategy / initiatives, challenging to balance local business and program needs, while understanding and advocating a ONE PPG approach.
Collaborate with (global / regional / local) leaders to plan, improve, and flawlessly execute standard processes (e.g., talent, rewards, engagement, and succession and development).
Champion and support diversity and inclusion initiatives to drive awareness and accountability and customize actions where needed.
Optimize the workforce through resource planning, productivity analysis, structure, operational and deployment of resources.
Support overall HR effectiveness and the delivery of an optimal customer experience, by partnering on complex or vague items with the Tier 1 PPSC, Centers of Excellence, and other HRBP's to deliver excellence as well as ensuring timely response and escalations in the workday as required.
Advisor to ER / LR COE on critical negotiations such as CLA agreements and social partner relationships (unions / works councils).
Support for local, non-complex issue resolution (including employee relations, time and attendance, compensation, etc.)
and policy adherence, leveraging standard global, regional, and local practices and guidelines.
Enroll ER / LR COE and / or local regional or country experts as required for complex situations and to ensure accuracy and consistency in the resolution of typical policy matters.
Requirements :
Degree qualification in HR or business.
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner (ideally 4+ years), building strong relationships with leaders, coaching, and enhancing capabilities across the employee life cycle.
Candidates must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
Experience with Workday would be advantageous.
Experience in a fast-paced retail and commercial environment with sound knowledge of Employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
Ability to use People Analytics to understand trends and successfully use people data to inform decision-making.
