About the Role We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity to join our People team as an HR & Workers Comp Claims Coordinator in Melbourne. This multifaceted role is designed for a proactive and organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be at the forefront of managing workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs, coordinating training initiatives, and supporting a variety of HR projects. Key Accountabilities Workers' Compensation & Return to Work Coordination Manage and process workers' compensation claims. Coordinate return-to-work programs in compliance with relevant laws. Communicate with injured team members, medical providers, and insurance carriers. Maintain accurate claims records and related documentation. Develop strategies to reduce workers' compensation costs and improve workplace safety. Triage safety and serious incident claims via Zendesk. Training would be provided to successful candidate to ensure they understand workers compensation legislation and requirements. Training Program Coordination Manage trainee enrolments and contracts. Liaise with Apprenticeship Network providers and RTOs. Process claims and review invoices, ensuring data integrity. HR Coordination Maintain and prepare people data and reporting. Ensure accurate HRIS data and manage inactive team members process quarterly. Assist in preparing HR-related documents and presentations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and transparency. Support compliance with HR policies and procedures. Administer employee benefits programs and respond to inquiries. Support the implementation of the people strategy and employee engagement programs. To be our Ideal Candidate, what do you need?
