Our client is currently seeking a licensed HR Truck Driver to engage in waste collection and removal works in the Snowy-Monaro Region. This role will involve occasional travel to Sydney and Canberra to tip off loads of waste.This role has a track to permanency for the right candidate. Applicants seeking an opportunity for eventual full-time employment are strongly encouraged to apply.The Role:HR Truck Driving - Hook Bin TruckWaste Collection from various sites in the Snowy-Monaro RegionWaste disposal - including disposal in Canberra/SydneyStart and finish in Polo Flat/Cooma each day - 8 hour days as standard.Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck, including checking hook bin components, tire pressure, and general cleanlinessReport any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements to the supervisor.Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and environmental regulations.Maintain positive communications with site traffic and personnel.Maintain accurate records of usage.Requirements:HR LicenseWhite CardPPE: Hi-Vis Clothing, Steel Cap Boots, Hard HatGood Driving RecordLocal to Cooma and surrounds - ACCOMMODATION IS NOT PROVIDEDAvailability Monday to FridayDesirable Candidates will have:Vac truck operation experienceHook lift or waste collection experienceAvailability for weekends and public holidays on an ad-hoc basisAvailable to start immediatelyIf you meet the above criteria, please apply via Seek and apply now!All applications are treated with the strictest confidence.
