DP World Fremantle is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact in human resources, training, and workers' compensation management.
Join our team as an HR, Training & Workers Compensation Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our people and operations.Key Accountabilities:Human Resources Support: Provide comprehensive HR administrative assistance to the HR Manager, ensuring HR practices align with business strategies and values.Training Coordination: Organize and coordinate onsite and external training programs, working closely with trainers, RTO leads, and operational teams to ensure proper scheduling, documentation, and compliance.Safety Compliance: Support the HSSE Manager by ensuring adherence to safety policies, conducting GEMBA walks, and contributing to corporate safety initiatives.Injury Management: Collaborate with injured employees, supervisors, and medical providers to ensure timely reporting of workplace injuries and efficient implementation of injury management and return-to-work procedures.Claims Administration: Liaise with the National Injury Management Team and coordinate and provide local support for workers' compensation claims, ensuring accurate documentation and effective communication with insurers, rehabilitation providers, and regulatory authorities.Employee Engagement: Provide data and administrative support to enhance workplace culture, improve employee engagement, and support the implementation of fitness-for-work procedures.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory safety, workers' compensation, and HR-related regulations.Qualifications, Skills, Experience:Certification as a Return-to-Work (RTW) Coordinator with knowledge of the WA Workers Compensation & Injury Management Act.Experience in a similar role within Stevedoring, Mining, Transport, or related industries.Strong communication skills, including active listening, clear correspondence, and detailed notetaking.Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritize workload.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and Excel.High level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving business systems and generating innovative solutions.Proven ability to build strong relationships with frontline employees and diverse stakeholders.This is your chance to make a real impact by supporting our workforce, enhancing training programs, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
