About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Systems Administrator to support business-as-usual (BAU) operations while the current HR Systems Administrator assists with the implementation of a new HRIS system.
This role ensures the ongoing functionality of our existing HR systems, including system troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
Contract Length: 6 monthsHybrid Work Arrangement based in DocklandsBe part of a supportive and collaborative teamKey Responsibilities: BAU System Support:Maintain and support existing HR systems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Manage and resolve system issues via ServiceNow, including tasks such as password resets, integration issues, and technical troubleshooting.Liaise with external IT vendors and internal IT teams to address system-related problems.Identify whether issues are related to external providers (Citadel) or internal IT systems.System Updates and Releases:Oversee scheduled system releases and updates, such as the upcoming Chris21 release in March.Coordinate with the IT team and the Payroll Manager to refresh the environment, schedule testing, and manage system updates.Act as the project lead for updates without being directly involved in functional testing.Project Support (Ad Hoc):Opportunity to contribute to Melbourne Water's HRIS transformation project if interested.Assist with tasks related to the transition from Chris21 to Dayforce, their new HR and payroll system.System Landscape:Current systems include Chris21 (HR & Payroll), Cornerstone (Learning Management), UKG Workforce Ready/Kronos (Time & Attendance), PageUp (Recruitment), and ServiceNow (Ticketing & Query Management).Navigate across multiple systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.About the Team: You will join a collaborative People Systems team of five, including managers for projects, contractors, and reporting.You'll also work alongside the payroll team and external project resources supporting the Dayforce implementation.The previous employee in this role found it highly rewarding and felt like a valued team member.What We're Looking For: Essential: Hands-on experience with Chris21 and KronosStrong technical troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach.Experience supporting HR systems within a corporate environment.Ability to coordinate projects and system updates without direct functional testing.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Industry background is flexible experience in HR systems support is key.Additional Details: No team management responsibilities.Why Join Our Client?
