Location:The Department of Health is seeking interest for a permanent full-time HR Services Officer to join the Recruitment Services team. The Team:The Recruitment Services team, based in Hobart's CBD, manages, provides advice, and oversees the recruitment lifecycle for many of the Department of Health's business units, providing pivotal support to Tasmania's health system, including Ambulance Tasmania, Oral Health Services Tasmania, Community, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Hospitals & Primary Care, and all Corporate areas.
Become part of our inclusive and supportive team, where we embrace diversity and variety - no two days will ever be the same.You will receive thorough onboarding and training for your position, along with continuous support, ensuring the best opportunity for success in your role.Expand your Human Resources knowledge and experience while liaising with internal and external stakeholders.The Role:Manage and monitor recruitment processes to ensure selections are undertaken in a timely manner; liaise with managers and selection panels to ensure timely completion and submission of selection reports and job requests.Prepare recruitment-related correspondence, process instruments of appointment, and assist with recruitment and vacancy filling requests in accordance with established processes and procedures.Assist with establishment maintenance.Actively participate in staff training and development and continuous quality improvement activities.You will need:Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality; and build and maintain strong working relationships.Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team, to plan, organise, and prioritise workloads effectively in an environment subject to work pressures and change.Well-developed computer skills including demonstrable competence in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database packages.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Details of appointment:Permanent full-time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:$73,811 to $79,779 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
