Location: As a member of Human Resource Services, perform multiple and diverse tasks associated with recruitment and payroll processes for the Department of Health (DoH)
The role: Provide advice and assistance to managers and staff on a diverse range of human resource services, specifically those associated with payroll and recruitment matters. Undertake the accurate, efficient, and effective processing of all transactions relating to the payment of salaries, including new employments, terminations, and all personnel movements, on a day to day basis. Accurately interpret and apply Award provisions in calculating and coding timesheets and liaise with managers and staff to resolve any issues arising. Manage and monitor recruitment processes to ensure selections are undertaken in a timely manner; liaise with managers and selection panels to ensure timely completion and submission of selection reports and job requests. Prepare recruitment related correspondence, process instruments of appointment and assist with recruitment and vacancy filling requests in accordance with established processes and procedures. Details of Appointment 1* Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible
1* Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 53.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 13 January 2025
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
